Rs 30,00,000 Only, for a dress

Different sized ruby red crystals, painstakingly hand applied onto lace make for a show stopping outfit, a corner stone of the Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2014 fashion show collection- one that costs like building materials for a kitchen extension- if we want to continue down the road of the masonry extended metaphor.

Net-a-Porter, fearless luxury online fashion pioneers have gone a step further in challenging perceptions of online retail by ordering six of these beautifully crafted dresses, with an exorbitant price tag.
The Guardian picked up on these news and immediately interviewed Ben Matthews, Net-a-Porter's buying manager: “If we have women in mind for a particular piece then we will go for it and with conviction too. This Dolce & Gabbana dress has been produced in limited quantities and we have bought half of the world's stock," he says.

Notwithstanding the crisis, the luxury online retailer has been raking it in, literally, so I guess they know their business and its time that us too come to realize that gone are the days when online shopping was restricted to buying books off Amazon at slightly discounted prices.
And with a $50,000 price tag, I assure you ; the shipping will not be free.
